To facilitate account creation and login process. If you choose to InTextLink your account with us to a third-party account (such as your Twitter or Github account), we use the information you allowed us to collect from those third parties to facilitate account creation and login process for the performance of the contract. See the section below headed "how do we handle your social logins" for further information.
Request feedback. We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Website.
To manage user accounts. We may use your information for the purposes of managing our account and keeping it in working order.

In short: We do not use third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information. But we do use a session cookie.

Third-party cookies

We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. We integrated the tool plausible into our website. However, we are using a self-hosted instance so no data leaves our infrastructure.

Functional cookies

We use a functional session cookie called "a11yphant-session" to handle the login process and assigning submissions to a user.

5. How do we handle your social logins?

In short: If you choose to register or log in to our services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Our Website offers you the ability to register and login using your third-party social media account details (like your GitHub or Twitter logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, username, profile picture as well as other information you choose to make public on such social media platform.

We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this privacy notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Website. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. 6. How long do we keep your information?

In short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

9. Controls for do not track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
